Fanny meduna geb. Weinert vom tiessten schmerze gebeugt gibt im eignen und im namen ihrer rinder Edmund, Mathilde, Erwin und Anna die betrübende nachricht von dem hinscheiden ihres under geblichen gatten und Baters, herrn Edmund welcher nach langem schweren beiden, egeben in hen Willen Gottes, im 56. Fahre feines lebens dienstag, ben 12. september d. F. um 2 Uhr früh sanft im serra entschlafen ist.
Die irdische sülle des theuren Berblichenen wird Donnerstag, den 14 september d. f. um 3 Uhr nach. in der Bfarrbrche zu Sct. Stephan cing segnet und sodann auf dern Wolschaner Friedhöfe in der famillien gruft zur ewigen Ruhe bestattet.
Die heilligen seelenmessen werden freitag den 15 september d. F. um 10 Uhr vormittags in derselben sfarrtirche(Pfarrkirchen) gelesen.

** Grete (14/08/1888 - 21/05/1938):
She was the daughter of an officer in the Austro-Hungarian army and the famous composer Louis Spohr granddaughter (1784-1859). She completed her studies in Prague and Karlsruhe. In 1908, she began her career on stage at the German Theatre in Prague; In
1912, she went to the Municipal Theatre of Usti nad Labem (Usti nad
Labem), 1912, she accepted a position in the theater Karlsruhe court. She attended the Bayreuth Festival year 1913-1914. After
World War II, it took 1,918 engagement at the Opera House in Brno
(Brno), which, since 1921, they still gave performances and guest
concerts until 1924 and was active in Brno in the educational field. First
were the repertoire her heroines of Wagner: Senta in "The Flying
Dutchman", which Elisabeth in "Tannhäuser", Elsa in "Lohengrin", the Eva
in "Die Meistersinger" and Sieglinde in "Valkyrie" to have been a
variety of other
functions such as Myrtocle in "The Dark Eyes" by d'Albert, the
Marschallin in "Der Rosenkavalier" and the composer in "Ariadne auf
Naxos" by Strauss. She was married since 1917 with Edmund Knight Meduna Riedenburg and has since appeared under the name Grete finger Meduna. She
died on 21.05.1938 in Brno by suicide (window fall on the 3rd floor of
his apartment after the entry of German troops in CSR).
Franz:
Das Hauptwerk Mattarello stellte eines der modernsten Befestigungswerke der Festung Trient dar, welches in der Spätphase des Baustils „Vogl“ erbaut wurde. Das ursprüngliche Projekt wurde durch den damaligen Geniedirektor von Trient, Major Franz Ritter Meduna von Riedburg ausgearbeitet.
Die Decken wurden bereits aus Stampfbeton mit Eisenträgern hergestellt jedoch erfolgte die Errichtung das restlichen Mauerwerks mit Bruchstein der Umgebung und die Granitabpflasterung teilweise mit Steinen aus der Nähe von Franzensfeste. Sämtliche Panzerteile wurden von den Skoda Werken in Pilsen geliefert. Der technische Fortschritt der Angriffsartillerie führte aber dazu, dass das Werk trotzdem zu Beginn des Krieges mit Italien als veraltet und nicht mehr widerstandsfähig eingestuft wurde.
